What we do

Painting & decorating — all Mark's own work.

Interior and exterior decorating for homes and businesses across Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Cheshire — from a single room to a whole house, prepared properly and finished by hand, by one decorator from start to finish.

01

Interior Painting & Decorating

Full interior redecoration: walls, ceilings, skirting, architraves and doors. Surfaces are filled, sanded and properly prepared before a brush is loaded, so the finish is even and lasts. Whether it's one tired room or a whole house between chapters, it's Mark's own work from prep to the final cut-in.

02

Residential Decorating

Decorating around a family and its furniture takes a particular kind of care. Furniture is protected, floors covered, and each day's work left tidy — the reason clients describe rooms left spotless and no mess to clear up. From period Alderley Edge houses to new-build family homes, the standard is the same.

03

Commercial Decorating

Commercial spaces — a dental practice among them — decorated around opening hours and finished on schedule, so a business is back to normal quickly. Clear communication throughout, snags solved as they come up, and a professional, courteous presence on site from start to finish.

04

Woodwork, Doors & Windows

Woodwork is where a decorator's care shows most. Skirting boards, architraves, doors, staircases and window frames — inside and out — are prepared, primed and finished by brush to a crisp, hard-wearing edge. Sash and casement windows given the patient preparation they need to last.

05

Exterior Painting

Exterior decoration on houses, gates, fences and outbuildings — worked from scaffold where needed, prepared thoroughly and coated to stand up to the weather. Anthracite gates, painted render, fascias and soffits, brought back to a clean, uniform finish that lifts the whole property.

06

Colour & Finish Advice

Choosing colour and sheen is half the job. Mark gives detailed information on which products would be used and why — matt where you want depth, eggshell or satinwood where woodwork takes knocks — so the finish suits how the room is lived in, not just how it looks on the tin.

07

Feature Walls & Detail Work

The considered touches: a feature wall in a deeper colour, painted panelling, alcoves and awkward corners cut in by hand. Meticulous is the word clients use — the detail is where the extra care shows, and where a room stops looking freshly painted and starts looking properly finished.

08

Whole-Home Redecoration

For a house being taken on top to bottom, the whole redecoration is planned as one programme — order of rooms, colours agreed, timescales set out — and delivered by the same decorator throughout. On schedule, communicated clearly, and finished to the standard the waiting list is built on.

Detailed information on which products would be used, excellent preparation to ensure there was no mess, and the room left spotless — every job.
